Panasonic Lumix GH6

The GH6 is my main video camera. With 10 pages of recording options, the option to shoot in V-Log, 5.8K, and different anamorphic modes all in a 10 bit color space, this camera does everything I need it to do and more.

Panasonic Lumix G9

The G9 is a great B cam to my GH6, and is my main photo camera. It can shoot video up to 4K60 in 8 bit and up to 4K30 in 10 bit. It can also shoot 1080 up to 180 fps. With it's high burst photo mode, I am able to capture sports and other fast moving subjects.

The Osmo Action is still my favorite action camera on the market. I love the form factor, the recording modes, and most importantly I love the image coming out of this camera. It's front facing screen makes it easy to get shots of me recording myself and the small size makes it easy to throw in my pocket or bag and take everywhere.

The 10-25mm is my most versatile lens and practically lives on my camera. With 20-50mm full frame equivalent range, and a constant 1.7 aperture, it covers almost every focal length I need.

Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2

Mostly used for photos, this lens gives you great background compression and amazing bokeh to match. This is one of the sharpest and fastest lenses for the Micro Four Thirds system.

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/2.8

With an 80 to 300mm full frame equivalence and constant 2.8 aperture, this lens is perfect for sports and wildlife photography, and works great on a tripod filming things such as weddings where you need those close shots. It's small size really makes it stand out compared to it's full frame competitors.

The image quality paired with the fast aperture makes this lens a must have. I mostly use this lens for sunset shots when shooting weddings.

Memory Cards

Some newer cameras require CFexpress cards. Although the GH6 has a slot for both CFexpress and SD cards, some of the higher shooting modes do not support the SD card slot. Even though this is considered a slower card, it is still rated for 8K RAW video. I have tested this card and it works great with all shooting modes on the GH6.

SanDisk 64GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-II

UHS-II cards are faster than UHS-I cards. Not all cameras support UHS-II, but if yours does then I highly recommend you use one. With higher speeds, you can record higher resolution video without any issues and if you are shooting at a high burst mode, the photos will write to the card faster so you can get back to shooting quicker.

It's no secret that anamorphic lenses are expensive and they aren't something you are going to use on every shoot. This filter gets me nice anamorphic flares without breaking the bank.

Whenever I need to get aerial shots, this little drone has an amazing camera. It is amazing they were able to fit a 5.4K camera with a 1 inch sensor in such a tiny package. Previously coming for the DJI Phantom 4 Pro, this is a major upgrade in both camera quality and portability.

The size and weight of this little microphone is great. I use on a boom pole usually, but on occasion will just attach it to the hotshoe of my camera. I've used this microphone on professional shoots on more than one occasion.

These little wireless microphones work great. The modules are extremely small and easy to throw in your bag. You can attach a lavalier microphone, but in a pinch it also has a mic built in which has came in handy on multiple occasions for me.

This audio recorder is capable of recording high quality audio in different formats. It has a gain dial on the front of it for easy adjustments, a mic in and line out port for headphone monitoring, and other helpful features such as a built in limiter to prevent audio from clipping.

These little RGB lights are great. They are extremely bright, extremely portable, and extremely cheap compared to similar lights in their class. Being RGB they have over 360 hues to choose from, different modes, and a mounting point right on the bottom of them.

Tripod

This tripod is very lightweight and durable. You can easily rotate the orientation of the camera from landscape to portrait. Although it is not a fluid head tripod, it works great for filming scenes where the camera can be locked off and doesn't need to move.

The Flipside is my main camera bag. It's very spacious and durable. It has pockets on the front, a place to put a tripod, and you access the main compartment from the back. That can be extremely handy if it's muddy. If you put the back on the ground, you can put the front of it down and still access your gear so you don't get any mud on your back, or if you prefer, you can strap the bag around your waist, take it off your shoulders, flip it around, and have access to all your gear without ever taking it off.
